This session will highlight the particular tools available within several AI tools that are approved for staff and/or student use. We will explore some of the differentiation utilities built into these AI tools as well as sharpen our prompting skills with the goal of using chat-based AI tools to build and review differentiated materials. ParentSquare is our secure, school communication platform that allows educators to send messages, announcements, forms, and reminders to families in multiple formats and languages. This course will focus on how to use ParentSquare to foster inclusive, two-way communication and support stronger home-school connections. Aligned with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, the session will also explore translation tools, accessibility features, and strategies for engaging all families. In this 90-minute hands-on training, participants will learn how to efficiently manage digital files and emails. We'll begin with a clear overview of Drive’s key components—My Drive, Shared Drives, and the "Shared with Me" section—followed by tips for structuring folders, using stars, and work groups. Participants will gain skills with organizing digital files and practice organizing their own drives during focused work sessions. The session also includes a segment on smart email management strategies, including folders, rules, snoozing, and flags. In this collaboration between Instructional Technology and our Math Specialist, this session will guide participants through the building and executing of an interactive lesson leveraging the primary-grade-level curriculum materials and our instructional presentation system. Participants will leave the session with an understanding of how to set the table for success when building an interactive lesson.
