This is a biannual refresher course in Crisis Prevention Intervention. Previous CPI certification required. This program provides instruction in principle-based de-escalation and physical intervention to ensure student and staff safety when dealing with students demonstrating behavior issues. This is a paid training for special education staff needing the certification per CBA.
